Welcome to my home page!
I am Andrea Figueroa. I have been teaching here at Garden Grove High School since the 1997-1998 school year. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Carleton College in 1996. After that I earned teaching credentials in Geoscience and Mathematics while attending Chapman University. In 2005 I earned a Master of Science degree in Geology from Cal State University Fullerton. Parts of my dissertation have been published in the journal Geomorphology.
I love learning and I hope I will be able to spark the same love of learning in all of my students this year.

In order to access the summer assignment, join my google classroom with the class code: cmqtpnn. You don't have to do this assignment over the summer because it is not due until 1-2 weeks into the school year, but I have it posted if you would like to get a jump start on the work.
