ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  1. Reminder to ALL STUDENTS! On Wednesday, June 23rd, all offices will close at noon due to the graduation.  Please plan accordingly.  All students will be required to clear campus IMMEDIATELY after their last final. 
  2. Next year’s AP STUDENTS!  Please pick up your summer assignments on the school website!

PARENT SECTION: 

  1. Please come and support our Garden Grove Football Teams. They will be selling fireworks July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. On the 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  The stand is located in the southwest corner of Chapman and Brookhurst in front of Auto Zone.  All money raised goes towards uniforms and equipment!  Thank you for your continued support and Argo Spirit and have safe and sane 4th of July!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  2. Please be sure to pick up any confiscated items by Tuesday, June 22nd.  The office will not be open on graduation day to pick up any items. 
  3. Next year’s AP STUDENTS!  Please pick up your summer assignments on the school website!
  4. Next year’s AP STATISTIC STUDENTS! Two-hour graphing calculator workshops will be held in August in Room B-8 from 10:00 am – noon on the 12th, 19th and 26th. 
  5. If you signed up for AP BIOLOGY for next year and you missed the meeting that was held in Dr. Cron’s room on Monday, you need to talk to Dr. Cron TODAY!  
  6. If you ordered a MEMORY BOOK with your PROM PICTURES you received an extra sheet of wallets instead.  According to the Lifetouch contract, we had a minimum that was required for memory books and not enough books were purchased.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bartolotti before or after school. 
  7.   1. Next year’s AP STUDENTS!  Please pick up your summer assignments on the school website!
  2. ATTENTION SENIORS! Due to a big request, we will be selling GRADNITE tickets on Monday after your assembly by the Don Wash Auditorium.  We will also have a table set up at the Senior BBQ for those late comers that wish to attend the party for Gradnite.  Tickets are still $70.00 and need permission slips signed before boarding the bus!

Come hear songs and see dances from Michael Jackson, Queen, Glee, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner and more!  Along with many amazing soloists!  Tickets are only $3.00!!!  It’s an upbeat show you won’t want to miss! 
  7. SENIORS! Gradnite will be selling tickets again today, and Thursday at lunch time in the quad by Room E15.  We will NOT be selling tickets the week of graduation!  You can still send in cash money to the office in an envelope marked “Gradnite” and a receipt will be sent to your student.  For those that still owe money please pay off the remainder and pick up a permission slip.  NO student will be allowed to board the bus without a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian!  We have a great night planned for our seniors with a chance to win an I-PAD and many other great gifts!  There will be music all night, a hypnotist, casino games, make your own video and more!  Show your spirit seniors & finish up the year with a GREAT PARTY!

Technical Paper: 1st place, Academic display: 1st place, Oral Presentation: 1st place. Windmill Performance- Mechanical Power: 1st place, Wind to Vehicle Transfer: 1st place, Electrical Power: 2nd place. They will now be competing in the National Competition in Denver, Colorado late June.

League champions and CIF qualifiers were Joe Taufatee, Thong Tran, Wyatt Behringer, Gabriel Rose, Ty Anderson, Brian Kim, Andy Le and Avery Williams. Avery Williams was also voted League MVP. Congratulations Track Teams.
  6. Congratulations to the GIRLS TRACK & FIELD TEAM for their amazing performance at the league finals, winning back to back league championships. League champions and CIF qualifiers were Diana Ortega, Nima Iupati and Sabrina Howe. Other “Athletes of the Meet” this year were Kadie Heck, Malia Matagi, Lauren Beck and Desiree Henson. Windmill Performance- Mechanical Power: 1st place, Wind to Vehicle Transfer: 1st place, Electrical Power: 2nd place. They will now be competing in the National Competition in Denver, Colorado late June.

  4. Congratulations to the BOYS TRACK & FIELD TEAM for their amazing performance at league finals, winning their 5th league championship in 6 years. League champions and CIF qualifiers were Joe Taufatee, Thong Tran, Wyatt Behringer, Gabriel Rose, Ty Anderson, Brian Kim, Andy Le and Avery Williams. Avery Williams was also voted League MVP. Congratulations Track Teams.
  5. Congratulations to the GIRLS TRACK & FIELD TEAM for their amazing performance at the league finals, winning back to back league championships. League champions and CIF qualifiers were Diana Ortega, Nima Iupati and Sabrina Howe. Other “Athletes of the Meet” this year was Kadie Heck, Malia Matagi, Lauren Beck and Desiree Henson. Good Luck this weekend at CIF!
  6. SENIORS! Get your ticket soon for GRAD NITE 2010! Tickets will be sold during lunch in front of room E15 today and every Thursday for $70.00. You may also send in your payment (full or partial) to the Main Office in an envelope marked “Grad Nite”. For those students that have already purchased their tickets and received a permission slip, please drop them off at the Grad Nite table on the days we are there or in an envelope marked Grad Nite to the Main Office, If you do NOT have a permission slip yet, come by the Grad Nite table on Thursday! These MUST be signed and turned in before you may board the bus to the party!

  1. ATTENTION JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS! Are you interested in helping plan your student’s Grad Nite for 2011? There is going to be a meeting on Tuesday, May 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the school library. This is the time to meet with other junior parents and start brainstorming for your student’s Grad Nite! You have two fundraisers coming up in June and July and will need to get organized so you will have enough help. It is not too early to start planning next year’s big party!
