`

I went to UCLA my freshman year, just out of high school. But I became interested in going to UC Berkeley when I learned  that it was the number one University in the World that year. I wanted to compete with the best. I applied to transfer and was accepted. The experience in Berkeley was unforgettable. Great being  in Northern California, too Berkeley woke me up! I became socially conscious and politically aware. All my professors were the top experts from their field. Many Nobel Prize winners teach at U.C. Berkeley. In the U.C. Berkeley graduate school, my art teachers were famous artists. It inspired me to reach for excellence. If you think you are one of the best at Garden Grove High School, then attend U.C. Berkeley where every student there is one of the best from their own high school. This school is  for the serious, focused and hardworking student. (By the way, they do like top students who transfer from the community college level if you have top grades there.)
