Welcome to Garden Grove High School Athletics!

Below you will find information about the various summer sports available. The flyers for each sport includes the contact information needed for that coach. All players must fill out the Summer Registration Form located below AND complete an athletic clearance.

DEADLINE to pay for SUMMER SPORTS is June 30th at 2pm

While School is Still in Session: Payments and forms should be taken to the Athletic Office HOURS: TBD

AFTER June 5th the Bookstore will ACCEPT the forms and payments between 9a - 12p and 1p - 2p, Monday - Friday.

Fall:

Cross Country – 6/06-15, & 6/27-29, Tues/Wed/Thurs @ 8:00 am @ Clock Tower Park

Boys Water Polo – 6/05-7/21, Mon-Thurs @ 9:00-11:00 am. Meeting on GGHS Pool Deck on 6/05 @ 9:00 am *For more info, go to www.argoaquatics.com

Football – 6/06-7/06, Tues/Wed/Thurs @ 3:30-5:30 for Freshmen

Girls Tennis – DELAYED 1 WEEK DUE TO CONSTRUCTION: Will begin next week.

6/12 - 7/13, Monday - Thursday, 3p - 6p, @ GGHS Tennis Courts

Girls Volleyball – 6/05-29 @ GGHS South Gym. Newcomers go 10-12; Returners go 12-2p

Winter:

Boys Basketball – 6/06-30, Mon-Thurs; Frosh go 8:30-10; JV & Varsity go 8:30-9:45 in the Weight Room, then 10-12 in the North Gym (JV & Varsity)

Boys Soccer – 6/05-28, Mon/Tues/Wed from 2:00-4:30

Girls Basketball – 6/05-7/06 in North Gym; Mon/Wed/Fri/some Saturdays. Meeting on 6/05

Girls Soccer – 6/05-8 and 6/12-15 for New/JV player from 8-10 am; Varsity goes 6/20-7/13 on Tues/Thurs @ 8-10 am in GGHS Stadium & Summer League games are Tues/Thurs 3:00/4:30/6:00 pm @ Westminster High School

Band Camp

New Member Camp: 7/20 and 7/21, 1 pm to 5 pm. Required for all new marching band and guard members.
Full Band Camp: 7/24 to 8/4, M-F, 8 am to 5 pm. Required for all marching band and guard members.
To register, turn in a summer sports form and $50 to the GGHS bookstore.
We have instruments for you to check out! If you are a new member and need to borrow an instrument, please come to the band room (411) between 8am and 9am or 3pm and 4pm from 7/17 to 7/19.
Wear athletic clothes, bring sunscreen, water, and food or money for lunch, and report to the band room (room 411).

Summer Strings Camp

7/17-7/19, 9 am to 3 pm.
Open to all string players (violin, viola, cello, or string bass) entering grades 7-12 in GGUSD.
Required for anyone interested in joining the GGHS Chamber Orchestra.
