I have been teaching at GGHS since fall 2011, and came to Southern California from the Portland area in Oregon where I grew up. I graduated from West Linn High School in 2003 and went on to earn a B.S. in biochemistry and biophysics in 2007 and a B.A. in Spanish in 2008 from Oregon State University. I continued my studies at the University of Oregon, graduating with an M.Ed. in 2010 before relocating to Southern California, where I have since taught physical (earth) science, biology, and chemistry over the years.
