Principal's Message

Welcome to Garden Grove High School. GGHS has a rich history that dates back to 1921, and it is an honor to be an Argonaut as your principal.

Garden Grove High School is a place where students thrive, supported by our dedicated teachers, counselors, administrators and support staff. We work together to create a rigorous and supportive learning environment for all students. At GGHS, our Mission embodies the District Goals:

Growing

PRIDE

by developing Personal Skills

Increasing

PERFORMANCE

by developing Academic Skills

Leading to the

PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE

and Lifelong Success.

District Goals:

1- Academic Skills - All learners will develop the academic skills necessary for continual individual growth towards mastery of standards.

2 - Personal Skills - All learners will develop the personal skills necessary to achieve academic and social goals.

3 - Lifelong Success - All learners will be prepared for lifelong success in their intended career paths.

There are many ways for students to get involved in campus life. From school activities, to athletics, to a wide variety of clubs - there is something for everyone. I encourage you to find your niche and if you have a specific interest, there’s even a process for starting a new club.

We have many opportunities for parent involvement throughout the year. Back to School Night, Wednesday, August 28, is an excellent opportunity to meet your student’s teachers. In addition to Open House in March, we will host parent education classes throughout the year and have opportunities to serve on committees such as the School Site Council and the English Learner Advisory Committee. Watch for more information sent through Parent Square.

I am looking forward to another great year together!

Go Argos!
